The tin drum

I liked the film as much as I liked the novel. If you want to read more about the story, look what I’ve written under READING. The film follows the book very closely. The movie got both an Oscar for best foreign film and the Palme d’Or at the festival in Cannes. It was directed by Volker Schlöndorff. Oskar is played by David Bennent, and I’m surprised that they could make a child act this well!

Amaury Vassili – Les moulins de mon cœur

I was lucky to be able to attend two concerts with Amaury Vassili in Alhambra, Paris on the 17 and 18 Jan, 2014. Among others he sang this extraordinary version of Les moulins de mon cœur.

Marina – George Stefanescu

I am not that found of non-figurative art, but I like this painting by the Romanian artist, George Stefanescu. I find the colours exquisite!
