This is one of my favourites, Ruud van Overdijk, a Dutch singer and musical artist. Apart from having a beautiful and passionate voice he’s a good actor, and he has lots of charisma and stage presence. Here he sings Billie Jean by Michael Jackson.
The Milk Maid – Jan Vermeer
“Equisite”
is the word that comes to my mind looking at
this painting from circa 1658 by the Dutch
painter Jan Vermeer. I find this “snapshot” of
daily life so touching, showing the beauty in
such an everyday situation as a milkmaid
pouring up milk in a bowl.
